Before committing to any new package, it would be logical to have a sample/prototype made. Whether it be a requirement for a simple FEFCO style carton or something more elaborate and bespoke; we are able to design and produce prototype samples for you or your clients to inspect and test before committing to a cutting forme. We are able to work from designs you may already have which maybe a sample / mock up, CAD file format or from an actual product you require to be packaged.
All aspects of our design and production are CAD driven and this starts with either a customers own CAD file or a carton/package that we’ve being commissioned to design for them. Our designers can take your brief and create a suitable, fit-for-purpose structural design, with regards to each customer’s own manufacturing equipment. Advice can also be given with regards to the best materials to be used in the packaging. We can also generate prototypes samples in the correct material on one of our sample cutting tables, enabling you to physically have a working, to scale prototype for yours or your customers’ approval.
We can also utilise our sample tables to produce small runs when required, negating the need for a cutting forme when the small quantity required dictates.
